Forty
3-minute exposures and thirty 5-second
exposures through Astrodon 5nm Ha filter. Processed in MaximDL
and Photoshop CS6. The 5-second
exposures were feathered into the bright central region of M42.
This was done to reduce the massive white clipping in that region
caused by the much longer 3-minute exposures.
